A YOUNG NIGERIAN SEEK HELP FOR BRAIN SURGERY

To treat a persistent brain condition known as Left Parietal AV malformation, Stacy Uzoamaka Kelvin-Okosi urgently needs $15,000 (about N6.5 million) to have gamma knife surgery at the Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, India.

Stacy, a woman in her early 30s, has experienced spells of migraine, vertigo, confusion, and other symptoms since suffering a severe head injury 12 years ago.

After some time, the issue moved to a hole in the brain, according to Uzoamaka.

The neurosurgeons who have examined Stacy concur that the gamma knife procedure is the best course of action for her illness. It is a minimally invasive medical technique that employs radiation and computer-guided planning to address brain disorders rather than making incisions.

Nobody, however, took the situation seriously because they knew she was living alone. After some time, there was a bang on the ground, and it wasn't until the next morning that we learned it was her body that had been thrown to the ground; her body was discovered in front of the building.

Since Uzoamaka had been employed by the hospital for a long time, her coworkers characterised her as laid-back.

After receiving her post-UME results recently, she entertained her coworkers and let them know that she planned to continue her study.

The lack of injuries on her body, which would have indicated that she had fallen from a high rise building, startled people who observed the body.
