Barrister Chijioke Chukwuemeka Ikpo: A New Dawn, A New Face

As popularly said, 'If the old testament was complete, there wouldn't be any need for the new testament'. The above saying aptly captures the undaunting quest for a new voice by the people of Isiala Ngwa Federal Constituency following the abysmal performance of the present and previous Representatives of the people of the area.

As a people, our demand for a change is duly borne out of the fact that we can't continue doing the same thing, the same way all the time, by the same set of people and expect a different result. After all, when a man marries two wives, he will be at ease to select a better one.

Since 1999, the people of Isiala Ngwa have not been lucky at the choice of those they elect to represent them. The same issues that formed their campaign base, like the attration of water, electricity, good roads and other social amenities still form part, or even the whole of the campaign promises over twenty years after.

The choice of Barrister Chijioke Ikpo (Nwachief) as the House of Representative candidate of the APC for Isiala Ngwa North /South Federal Constituency in 2023 general election is one opportunity the people wouldn't allow to slip them bye.

With a new energy and vitality, there is no doubt that he will be making a monumental difference in the core mandate of law making, oversight and representation as a parliamentarian.

The impression by these previous and present representatives that the green chambers is no longer viable and rewarding to our people will be a picture of the past.

As a successful businessman and an astute lawyer, NwaChief Ikpo is poised to actively participate in the process of making good laws for the good governance of the country.

If elected, He has promised to continue the process of regularly consulting his constituents on national critical issues before taken position on the floor of the house.

Assuredly, the welfare of his people shall be his utmost priority, while ensuring that it will no longer be business as usual.

The National Assembly is for serious minded people, and as such it requires men with the requisite tact and competence.

A vote for Nwa Chief is certainly a vote for the liberation of the people of Isiala Ngwa North/South from the clutches of underperformance and unaccountability that have over the past years retarded our growth and development.
