Fathers Day: FAYA Conferred On Barr. Oscar Chukwuma Okoro Patron

It was indeed a memorable day and a day of joy as Federated Arochukwu Youth Association, FAYA conferred on Barr. Chukwuma Okoro as their Patron following his numerous strides in building the Youths of Arochukwu Kingdom.

The event which took place today the 19th Day Of June 2022 during the meeting of FAYA Abuja Branch has found Barr. Oscar Chukwuma Okoro worthy to fill the gap of their Patron worldwide as it will help the Association attain more heights.

In a statement issued to Aro Okeigbo Blog, Barr. Oscar has for long been supportive to the growth of FAYA Worldwide, which helped in conferring on him the award of "Ubasinachi" by FAYA in 2014.

Mazi Barr. Oscar has been a backbone of the Youths by providing Jobs to Indigens of Arochukwu which over 20 youths have benefitted from.

During his acceptance speech after accepting the position, Barr. Oscar reiterated his zeal and enthusiasm for a greater Arochukwu, which the Youths have a greater role to play.

He noted that it gives him joy seeing Youths of Arochukwu Kingdom engaging in one skill or the other which has led him in sharing various Job  opportunities amongst the Youths of Arochukwu.


He disclosed that his last job opportunity that he shared amongst Aro platforms is the recruitment exercise of the National Population Commission ahead of the upcoming Census Exercise, he noted that some umu Aro have applied already now waiting for shortlisting, he used the medium to urge Umu Aro to follow up the recruitment exercise as it will be of great benefits to them, noting that with his position (Director) in the National Assembly, Umu Aro chances of getting Federal employment will be high.

He pledged to remain supportive to the youths and expressed gratitude upon receiving the award on Fathering Sunday.

In 2014 FAYA conferred me with an award of Ubasinachi, I have been pro youths by providing jobs to Arochukwu Youths of which over 20 youths have been gainfully employed in one organization or the other.

Currently I am encouraging them to follow up the recruitment exercise in National Population Commission ahead of the up coming census exercise beginning with the trial census in a few weeks from now.


I pledge to remain youth printed in many of my activities part of which was youth employment training in Agriculture which I brought through Agricultural Research Management Institute Ilorin Kwara State and Poultry training in Fishing and Chicken in Ibadanand Ilorin at various times

As the patron I promise to do more. Am particularly delighted because this honor came on a Father’s Day 

I have in the past received an award from International Youth Association as Ambassador of Peace.
