The Minority whip member representing the People of Arochukwu in the Abia State House Of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha has sponsored a bill seeking to convert the already established Abia State College Of Education (Technical) Arochukwu to Abia State University Of Technology And Education (ABUTEA), in a release sent to Arochukwu Blog, the lawmaker noted that by this Development, it will be possible for Arochukwu LocalGovernment to advance in Technology And Educational Innovations and will help in uplifting the standard of students and researchers within and outside Abia State,

ASCETA to University, Passes First Reading

A Bill (HAB 58), seeking to convert Abia State College of Education Technical Arochukwu (ASCETA), to  University, has passed through its first reading at the Abia House of Assembly.

The Bill which was sponsored by Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, Minority Whip/Member representing Arochukwu State Constituency.

According to Hon. Ukoha,  the Bill when passed, will be known as Abia State University of Technology and Education (ABUTEA).

He further hinted that it will help in advancing technological and educational innovations,  and uplifting the standard of students and researchers within and outside the State.
