IPOB Sit At Home Order: Arochukwu Indigen Encounter With Harsh Nigerian Police

The directive issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, for all the inhabitants of the  South East part of the country to sit at home on Monday 9th August 2021 in protest against last year’s storming of the home of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, as well as the claimed killing of many pro-Biafra agitators and the recent remandment  of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by Nigerian Government.

Following the above Directive by the indigenous people of Biafra, an Arochukwu Son became a victim of Police Harassment as he was seen Outside during the period of the Sit At Home Order.

According to Him, he disclosed on his social Media Handle that the Nigerian Police threatened to shoot them, accusing them of having fingers on the death of their colleagues and going about destroying police stations, identifying them as  mar IPOB members that want to use the period of sit at home and cause another damages to Nigerian Property.

The Aro Okeigbo Son who shared his testimony online went further to beseech his friends to help him thank God for having saved him from Police Brutality and Rascality.

See Post Below. I was a victim of Police brutality and rascality today at Nnewi Anambra State. Because of the sit-at-home yesterday, we cancelled our return from Ozubulu back to Lagos. This morning, about few minutes to 6.am in the company of 3 of my friends we ran into a police check point. Without any forewarning, they started shooting into the air and ordered us to lie face down. They matched 2 of my friends on the head. The pointed their gun at us that we are IPOB members who killed their colleague and destroyed their station yesterday. It is only God who knows how the tension was doused. They looked through our vehicle and ordered us to rush and enter our vehicle and turn back or else they would shoot us all. There were a lot of ifs....To God be the glory, I am safely home.
