In Seven Years Of Ikpeazu, He Did Not Construct Any Single Road In Arochukwu While He Boost Of 150 Roads In Abia State - Udensi
Opposition leader in Abia state and a chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA Sir Chikwe Udensi has faulted the claim by the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu at his broadcast to mark the 31st anniversary of the State that he has constructed about 150 roads across the state since he took over office over seven years ago while over 40 are nearing completion.
While describing the claim as untrue, Udensi the disputed governorship candidate of the party in Abia said if the governor has constructed about 150 roads in the past seven and half years yet his Arochukwu local government does not have one, the claim in unfounded. A weekly guest at Open Parliament, a current affairs programme in Love FM Umuahia, Streamed live on ABN TV, Udensi an Interpol Systems Consultant on Wednesday insists that in the past 31 years, Abia is not been where it ought to be.
According to him, a friend of his from UmunneochI also raised a similar concern about the poor state of roads in his local government, a situation he said is the same in Isuikwuato. “If he has built 150 roads and some local governments don’t have a single road, then what are we talking about? Should we be clapping for such a man?” he queried.
