Lawmaker, Colleague, Honours, Supports Ututu Women August Meeting
The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, and Minority Leader, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, were among the dignitaries that honoured this year's Ututu Women August Meeting Celebration.
Speaking at Abuma Ututu, the Lawmaker who was visibly happy to be among the women, thanked them for always supporting his numerous programs.
Hon. Ukoha, hinted that he has done a lot for the people of Ututu due to his affinity with the community.
The Lawmaker listed his achievements in Ututu to include: the ongoing training of 19 young girls from the community in Hairstyling/Pedicure and Manicure, provision of a water borehole project at Cottage Hospital Abuma Ututu, Bursary awards to Tertiary institutions students from Ututu for two consecutive times, provision of cash award to selected SS3 students from Ututu for WAEC registrations among others, taken up the fixing of windows at Ututu Police Station, among others.
The Minority Whip promised the women in particular and Ututu community in general of his continuous service to them and donated a huge cash for their event.
In his brief remark, the Minority Leader Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, thanked Ututu community for always supporting their son Hon. Ukoha.
He lauded his colleague for his sincerity of purpose and commitment towards the betterment and upliftment of his constituency.
The Minority Leader, call on Ututu people to support Hon. Ukoha, stressing that he is better off, having proven himself positively with hard work.
He also supported the program with a huge cash donation.
Earlier, the President Ututu Development Union Women's Wing, Mrs Rommy I. Amah, thanked Hon. Ukoha, for always supporting all their programs and for his numerous achievements both in Ututu community and the entire LGA.
He prayed God to guide him, while pledging the women's total support to his political aspiration come 2023.
In his vote of thanks, the President General Ututu Development Union (UDU), Sir Charles Nwankwo, explained that Hon. Ukoha, is rare gift to Arochukwu State Constituency.
He used the occasion to promise the Lawmaker of Ututu continuous support, having shown them love, support and assistance.
