Dr. Stephen Ukpai Ohafia The Young Progressive Party (YPP) Candidate for the post of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal House Representatives was on Friday, 29 July 2022 received a royal blessing from the Paramount Ruler of Okirika Kingdom in Rivers State, HRM Ateke Tom.
HRM Ateke Tom while blessing Dr. Stephen noted that he is like a son to him following his obedient and submissive nature.
He used the medium to disclose that Dr. Stephen is a member of the Okirika Palace and assured him of all the necessary support to make victorious in the forth coming Election.
While addressing the members of Okirika Kingdom and supporters of Dr. Stephen, he noted that he first met with Dr. Stephen when he was just an SA to the Abia State Governor, notwithstanding, he acknowledged me of his appointment and I shared in his joy, he is not an indigen of Rivers State but a resident of portharcourt who always inform me of his movements and Activities which has made me pick so much interest in him.

"Dr. Stephen Ukpai Ohafia is like a son to me who always informs me of his movements and Activities, I first meet with him when he was an SA to the governor of Abia State and since then he has been so humble and submissive to me.
I take him like a son though not an indigen of Rivers State but because i have seen him as a great man who is so passionate about good governance.
His resilience spirit, power and enthusiasm is topmost.

The event witnessed great outpouring of love and supporters of Dr. Stephen Ukpai Ohafia including indigens and some cabinet members of Okirika Kingdom.
