Umu Aro Reactions As Chibuike Jonas Joined Abia Guber Race

Reactions have trailed online as former Arochukwu Council Boss, Hon Chibuike Jonas Joined the Abia Gubernatorial Race under the auspices of African Democratic Party (ADP).

Arochukwu Blog had reported that Mr. Jonas had on Thursday joined the Abia Guber Race after the successful conduct of ADP party primaries as he came victorious after the primaries.

He said recent developments within Abia made it practically impossible to continue being an observer and leaving things worsen day by day.

"I'm here to make a clear  difference in terms of governance in Abia State.

"If you reside in Abia you will know that our state have been underdeveloped when it comes to roads,  payment of salaries, pensions, quality health care, Education and security.

I joined the race to salvage our dear state and to bring to sight numerous notable developments in the state just like I did in my L.G.A, Arochukwu. If I can actualize it when I was an ordinary Local Government chairman and completed 52 projects within one year and eight months then I can do it in Abia State.

"All we require is prayers and hard work to win the election in order to take Abia to the future we deserve".

Reacting, some Arochukwu Indigens on social media suggested that Jonas would have supported Alex Otti due to the crisis in PDP and corruption in the state.
