As an experienced international lawyer, she understands the unique challenges faced by lawyers handling cross-border issues.
A hopeful lover of education, pillar and supporter of education for its instrumental value in the improvement and ventilation of all human capacities, she recently with an excellent result, completed an SDG Environmental Security and Sustaining Peace Course.
A graduate of English & Philosophy (combined) BA Hons., University of Lagos; she trained as a network (Microsoft -MCP) and internetwork (Cisco Professional CCNP) Engineer. She worked as a Telecommunications Engineer in Network Management Centres and Network Remote Integration in the UK, after qualifying as one of the first twenty nine Cisco Professionals in the United Kingdom.
She gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at Middlesex University, London; completed her Law School, at College of Law, Store Street in London, and went back to Middlesex University for a Masters Degree in International Economic Law; in which she achieved a distinction in her dissertation on Intellectual Property Rights, and an overall merit in 2004. In April 2009, she attended BPP, London; for a Professional Skills Course and passed the compulsory Business Finance exams.
She thoroughly enjoys politicking and ran for Senate as a Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), 2015 and a re-run election in 2016 representing Abia North Senatorial District. She was also the FCT 2019 Senatorial Candidate of YPP –Young Progressives Party.
Nnenna served as the Chairman, South East Sensitisation and Technical Committee under the Office of the SSAP (Political) to the President (2016 - 2018). She is the Director General- Political, of the International Christian Organization for Sustainable Development (ICOSD), and Patron of Radiant Women -a Women only membership organisation, whose objective is to empower women of the Niger Delta region. She is the Chairman of Utopian Women -African Indigenous Center for Sustainable Development Goals (AIC4SDGS), amongst others.
As the FCT Coordinator of the United for Better Nigeria (UBNi) Movement, she is tireless in advocating for a Nigerian of the Southeast extraction to emerge as the President of Nigeria, come 2023.
Humanitarian by her very nature, Nnenna N’mma set up a humanitarian organisation ’REWOVINA’ in 2011- helping to resettle women fleeing from violence.
She is a happy mother and wife, loves meeting people, thinking up and finding good projects, and strategising their successful workability.
Proudly Ada Mazi of Arochukwu, she is the first child of Mazi Lancaster O. O. Okoro FCA FCCA FBIM, the legendary and foremost Chartered Accountant, East of the Niger. A man of utmost integrity, who stood firm in court and attested in 1979 that ‘Zik paid his tax, as and at when due,’ during the 1979 Presidential elections. In the process, he shunned offers of financial inducements from politicians and political parties and stuck to the truth. He was the Chief Accountant of Eastern Nigeria Development Corporation (ENDC).
